Touchdown Tel Aviv!

You’ll be greeted at the airport by one of our representatives and then transferred to Jerusalem, your home for the next two days.

The city's the spiritual cradle of three of the world’s major religions – Islam, Judaism and Christianity! You’ll find the roots of faith to be intertwined here, in old stone pathways and tiny time-worn churches, mosques and synagogues.

Check in to your hotel and take a nap to freshen up.

In the evening: time to try some shakshouka (a spicy tomato-and-egg dish), Israeli salads and other authentic fare at a local restaurant! Tonight’s festive atmosphere is perfect to meet and bond with your new companions.
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head out to explore Jerusalem with a local guide.

The places that we’ll first visit include: the Wailing Wall, an ancient limestone structure that is the most sacred site in Judaism and the Mount of Olives, from where you can get a wonderful, panoramic view of the Old city.
Then: a walk up Mount Zion to visit the Cenacle (a.k.a. the Upper Room), a holy site believed to be the place where the Last Supper was held.

Later: the Holocaust Museum (Yad Vashem). With several chambers and a candlelit hallway with an audio tape stating the names of the children lost during the Holocaust, this experience will make you realise what the Jewish community actually went through during that dark period in their history.
This morning, we’ll venture out to explore the Old City- the walled, historical area within Jerusalem.

We’ll first walk with pilgrims along part of the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) on the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, believed to be the site of Jesus’s crucifixion.

Then: we’ll stop to have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the evening: you’ll have free time to do some shopping! Don’t forget to try some baklavas, halvas, falafels and shop for some souvenirs to bring back for your family.

This morning, we’ll drive south to Eilat, a popular beach resort town along the Red Sea’s coast, that has one of the world’s most splendid coral reefs.

En-route: an exciting adventure! Take a cable car up to Masada Fortress, where you’ll see the ruins of a palace, with kitchens, rooms and even water channels intact! And experiencing the view from atop the fort  will certainly make you feel like you’re  inside a fabled palace, nestled in the skies.

Up Next: the Dead Sea experience! The sea’s natural mud is believed to be filled with beneficial nutrients, so take advantage of the opportunity to smother some on for free.

Then, wash it off by floating effortlessly and relaxing in the gentle waters of the Dead Sea.

We’ll also visit the Ahava Factory, where you can shop to take back home a range of cosmetic products made from the Dead Sea minerals.

In the evening: a trek through an Oasis. We’ll make our way through the Ein Gedi National Park, past perennial streams, canyons and waterfalls.
Today, get ready for a one-of-a-kind experience  - standing on a floating wooden pier, we’ll get to bond and interact with bottlenose dolphins at the Dolphin Reef !

Observe the daily routines of these elegant creatures as they hunt, play, court and socialize. The best part? These dolphins make their own choices.Contact with people is not forced and is based on their free will! You can also stand in the shallow waters, where you’ll notice dolphins gliding past you in the transparent waters.

We’ll then visit the Coral World Underwater Observatory, the biggest public aquarium in Israel. It hosts over 800 species marine life, including sharks, stingrays, corals and piranhas (Note: this is an optional tour and will be at an additional cost of USD 40).

Post lunch: head to the Ice Park & Mall, where you’ll find a range of shops selling anything from fresh homemade food to handcrafted jewellery.

One of the highlights here is the ice rink at the center of the mall. You can have fun getting ice skating lessons or watch professional figure skating performances (Note: this will be at an additional cost). We’ll then have dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at Eilat.
Today, we’ll check out from our hotel and journey to Tel Aviv.

First: a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll visit the hanging gardens at Hafai, a beautiful terraced garden that stretches for almost a kilometer.

Up Next: it’s time for some wine-tasting! We’ll first head to the famous Golan Heights Winery to taste some of the best Israeli wine.

We’ll then visit the famous Carmel Market. From clothing to spices and fruits to electronics, the market is a favourite and has something for everyone, whether it’s the curious, first-time visitor looking for a souvenir or the local who comes often to buy the freshest organic produce.

Later,  walk to the zodiac fountain in Jaffa, popular among locals who toss a coin and pray for a wish to get fulfilled.

In the evening: we’ll celebrate our time in Israel with a farewell dinner!

Recommended: after dinner, venture out for a taste of Tel Aviv’s festive flamboyant nightlife.Head to one of Tel Aviv’s rooftop bars for some partying with a view or go bar-hopping in the famous Rothschild Boulevard!  Alternatively, you can walk through the colourful streets for some  fresh air and visit markets to do some late-night shopping.
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. You’ll be transferred to your hotel to catch your flight back home.
