Touchdown Tokyo! Time to get excited; you’re in Japan and at the beginning of a truly unforgettable trip.
Our local representative will be waiting at Narita Airport to welcome and assist you. Then, enjoy your first glimpse of Tokyo as you’re driven in a private coach to your hotel. Check-in and unwind.
In the evening: bond with your new travel crew and trip leader at a welcome dinner. Time to put your chopstick skills to good use, try a bit of traditional fare, and toast to an amazing 7 days together!
Ohayou Gozaimasu! Fill up on breakfast at the hotel, as you have a busy day ahead exploring Tokyo, with a local guide by your side.
On our route: explore the Imperial Palace and see a 360-degree panoramic view over Tokyo at the Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest tower in the world. Then, take pictures under the red lantern at the Sensō-ji temple, and shop for mochi (sticky rice cakes) at Nakamise street

Next up: an offbeat treat: an Owl Café! Meet small, large, majestic and kawaii (cute) owls at the Akiba Fukurou, and pet and play with your new feathered friends. You can even pick your favourite owl and take a picture together, which the staff will print it for you as a gift.

Then: get your first glimpse of Cherry Blossoms at Shinjuku Gyoen park, home to over 1000 cherry trees. After getting our fill of the park, we’ll enjoy a picnic, sitting under the pink and white sakura trees, marvelling at their beauty. It’s a truly unforgettable experience.

Top off the day with ‘me time’ in Shibuya, the site of the famous Shibuya scramble crossing. Crowded with international and boutique shops and small noodle eateries, it’s the best place to shop and have dinner in Tokyo. Afterwards, we’ll head back to the hotel.
This morning, catch a local train to the Tokyo Train Station, alongside hundreds of Japanese commuters on their way to work.
From the Tokyo Train Station, ride the famous 320km/h Bullet Train to Odawara.
Upon arrival, we’ll head to the Yunessun SPA Resort, where bathing in water is old-school. Instead, you’ll have the choice to take a dip in warm pools of coffee, green tea, ramen or wine! You read that right. It’s an only-in-Japan experience.
Then: get magical glimpses of cherry blossoms around the Fuji Five Lakes area, set against the magnificent backdrop of Mt. Fuji itself. It’s as picture-perfect as it sounds.
Tonight, you’ll be staying in a ryokan, a traditional Japanese inn.
First up today, a tour of the Toyota Factory for a fascinating look at how the cars are assembled. Later, we’ll visit the Nagoya Aquarium, home to a wide array of sea creatures, including penguins, seals, white whales and dolphins.
You’ll have free time in the evening to explore and shop on your own. Recommended: head to Sakae, the city centre, for some retail therapy.
This morning, drive from Nagoya to Kyoto, Japan's ancient and imperial capital, famous for incredible temples, tea gardens and markets.
Explore Kyoto’s most famous temple, Kinkakuji aka. Golden Pavilion and the Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

Afterwards: a rickshaw ride around Gion, a charming district of tea houses and traditional merchant shops where you can see maiko (apprentice geisha) and if you’re very lucky, geisha as well.
Then: we’ll make our way to the famous Sagano bamboo forest. Walk through the green swaying stalks, enjoying the sunlight and the wind, for a quiet but magical experience.
In the evening: free time to do as you please. Recommended: don’t miss stopping by the Nishiki Food Market. Here, explore hundreds of shops selling seafood, freshly-made sushi, vegetables, snacks, traditional Japanese sweets, udon noodles and all kinds of tsukemono (pickles). Snack away to your hearts content.
Could there be anything more quintessentially Japanese than a tea ceremony or kimonos?
This morning, experience a combination of both.

Slip on an exquisite traditional kimono, get your hair styled, and then attend a tea ceremony, where your instructor will guide you through the ceremonial steps.
From tea to whiskey. We’ll go on a Yamazaki Whiskey Tour

A truly memorable evening ahead: a private dinner in the company of not one but two geisha, a rare and unique experience, open only to a select few.
While you enjoy dinner, which could include sushi, sashimi, vegetarian appetizers, cooked rice and dessert, your hostesses will engage you with conversation and entertain you as well, playing traditional music and performing a dance with you.
Cherry Blossom season in Osaka is all about the pink and white blooms set against the magnificent backdrop of Osaka Castle, so that’s where we’ll make our way this morning. Take your fill of pictures as we explore the castle and the park.
In the evening: ‘me time’ in Shinsaibashi. Trendy boutiques, retail chains, and luxury department stores like Daimaru, UniQlo, H&M, and Zara, will help you cross all the items off your shopping list here. Then, wander over to Dotonbori for dinner (on your own). Enjoy the shopping and savor the eating, because you won’t find many places like this in the world.
Sadly, it’s our last day in Japan. After breakfast, our local representative will accompany you to the Kansai airport to see you off and wish you a safe flight!
